A recurring joke on @jerrygogosian—the artwork world’s favourite satirical Instagram account, operated by gallerist Hilde Lynn Helphenstein—is about notorious waitlists for model new work by galleries’ most fascinating artists. The joke, on which “Jerry” has hung numerous memes, goes like this: “Nothing is accessible,” a supplier says to a collector, “however you may need to take a look at the opposite artists in my program.”
